Lose More Weight with Semaglutide & Tirzepatide.
It’s true. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are two of the most effective weight loss injections to come onto the market in many years. A phase 3 clinical trial found that regular use of this new drug helped patients lose 22.5% of their body weight on average, or about 52 pounds in 28 weeks. Because of these stunning results, the FDA fast-tracked the medications for approval for weight loss without diabetes.

Dr. Robert Gabbay, chief scientific and medical officer for the American Diabetes Association, told USAToday.com that “the study results are a game-changing level of weight loss typically unheard of without weight loss surgery”. Both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are what are called “glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists”. This means they act like a certain natural peptide in your body that tells your brain that your stomach is full. They work by increasing lipolysis (fat utilization for fuel) and metabolic rate (metabolism) and decreasing appetite, fat storage and rate of digestion. Many patients also experience improvements in risk factors for heart disease, blood sugar levels and quality of life. Both medications are designed to be taken by painless injection.
Tirzepatide, the newest medication, is a GLP-1 like Semaglutide, but it also contains a “glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor agonist”. This means that it has a dual action that can be even more effective at promoting weight loss for certain individuals. In a clinical trial of 3,731 patients, Tirzepatide was particularly effective in reducing abdominal fat and triglycerides. (3) (4).
